Joshua Tree Elopement at SkyHouse // When Jackie and Evan first reached out, they told us they wanted an intimate celebration in a beautiful environment and asked us for some of our favorite locations and any recommendations. We casually mentioned how great it would be to rent a sweet airbnb near Joshua Tree and make a weekend end out of it with all their closest friends and family. And that’s exactly what they did. They found one of the raddest homes in the desert to elope at – the SkyHouse in Joshua Tree. The amazing architecture complemented the natural landscape surrounding it; open concrete, glass and rusty corten steel walls rose out of the prickly desert floor. An azure blue pool was the perfect centerpiece to lounge all weekend.
From the moment we arrived on their elopement day, we felt that special buzz in the air. It was as clear as that beautiful desert day that Jackie + Evan were absolutely thrilled to be marrying each other. Their energy was infectious and was reverberated by everyone. Pairing all your favorite people that share in your happiness along with (the best!) homemade tacos, cervezas, and margaritas proves again to be a winning combo. It was a day to remember, that’s for sure.
