Palm Springs Intimate Wedding // We spent the day out in Palm Springs with the very best of them. The very best because we were with our friends Rachael & Robb who are as good as they come and their inner circle is a reflection of that. Rach & Robb are magnetizing… the type of people you want need (!) to be friends with. The sincerest and the dearest with a fan club of friends who have just as big of heart eyes for these babes as we do.
It was the perfect October desert day. The sky was wide and blue and peppered with palm trees, and a pair of flamingos flanked the lawn beside the lovely home that Rachael & Robb had been staying in. A sun drenched turquoise pool, fuchsia bougainvillea blooms, and the way the architecture quietly carved intricate shadows across the terracotta floors screamed vintage Palm Springs which evermore screamed Rachael & Robb. All the colors, all the light. And the sweetest pup Ludo welcomed us into the day.
We about lost it when Robb saw Rachael for the first time in her wedding dress. So many feels! What stuck with us most was the obvious investment that Rach & Robb shared in really being present. A slow and intentional love. Part of that was heading out into the desert to feel the serenity of the vast landscape. It can make you feel so small, but comforted knowing your life partner walks at your side. We could have spent all day roaming the desert with Rachael & Robb. Style comes so naturally for these guys and they’re effortlessly photogenic. But it was time we get them hitched.
Their closets friends and family gathered lakeside, purple mountains glowing in the near distance, and Rachael & Robb promised their forevers to each other beneath a cotton candy sky. The joyous energy from those I-do’s vibed throughout their the low-key evening. Everyone jived together, a community of their own, Rachael & Robb’s tribe. When your wedding day feels like home, it’s so damn good. Congrats Rach & Robb, we love you guys.
