San Francisco City Hall Elopement Photos // Marissa + Annie got married at one of the most beautiful city courthouses (ever!), right in their hometown of San Francisco. The architecture is one thing, but the light that spills in through the windows like the way it did on their wedding day… it was as if the most perfect backdrop was painted just for them. It highlighted their beautiful souls and emphasized their warm and timeless real love.
Marissa + Annie said their I-dos in a short and sweet little ceremony at the courthouse. After tying the knot, we took to the city and celebrated their union by grabbing a quick drink. Lastly, we made our way to their home-beach, where the two shared some snugs in the sand as they watched the sun dip down below the horizon. It was the perfect end to their perfect little elopement day.
A classic story of pandemic-related wedding postponements… but this one gone right. Marissa + Annie’s original wedding plans were put to a halt (twice!) by the pandemic. These two knew that regardless of the covid-climate, their commitment to each other would come first. They decided to elope. This decision allowed time to preserve their moments, to feel all the feelings, and to carve out time to share together that they may otherwise not get on a normal wedding day. We absolutely love seeing couple’s prioritize their time together on one of the best days of their lives.
