Wedding Photos at the Olowalu Plantation House, Maui, Hawaii // Our love for these guys goes back to our college days. We met Elyssa on the first day of college; she was our friendly neighbor and always wore the biggest smile. Soon we’d discover that we’d be studying alongside each other in the College of Environmental Design at Cal Poly. We were in the Landscape Architecture program, and Elyssa and Garrett were in the Architecture program. That’s where their love story began and ours flourished. :) Flash forward from many endless sleepless nights to a more mature and secure adulthood, Elyssa reached out as they were ready to get hitched. And we’re so glad she did. They are the sweetest couple and it was such an honor (and throwback!) to be able to document their wedding in Maui.
The Olowalu Plantation House is a dream Hawaiian wedding venue. The historic property is nestled on the most beautiful stretch of palm tree laden Hawaiian coastline that boasts a stunning mountainous backdrop. The lush environment only adds even more charm to the already standalone plantation-style architecture. Tiki torches and string lights, the sound of waves crashing amidst all of the laughter, and many (many) shots with a dance party under the full moonlight; it was the perfect ending to the best day.
