Swanky Engagement Photos at LA Restaurant The Nice Guy // We met up with Alex and Adam at The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles for their engagement session. The restaurant has a dark and swanky 70’s living room vibe with hints of speakeasy and mafia ties. The kitchen is even fit with a private chef’s table for a super private dining experience. It’s the kinda place that transports you straight into another era. It’s a whole vibe, just like Alex and Adam.
So an engagement session at a restaurant. Often, when couple’s want to shoot their engagement session at a restaurant, it’s because it was where they had their first date or something along those lines. It’s meaningful to them, we get it. But once we do get the “ok” to photograph in the restaurant to begin with, there’s typically a handful of restraints and challenges that come with it. We have to consider other diners, unpredictable lighting, and we’re usually given only a limited time to use the space. But not with these guys. This gem is Adam’s restaurant, so we got the run of the place all to ourselves. We love that we got to capture their essence in both their relationship and in their daily lives. It made it all the more meaningful.
